August 5th, 2026: I hate the summer...

Ohhhhhh…. Ohhh noooooooo- I'm dyinggggg the heat!!! Ohhhhhh my gosh!!!!! THE HEAT IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!!!! I'm so sunburnt, I'm so drained. I've spent this whole month just sitting in front of a fan! It SUCKS!!

Ok well it's not THAT bad but it's still pretty tough out here.

I've always dreaded the summertime. I live in a part of the world that gets really hot and really dry and REALLY cloudless and I happen to be somebody who sunburns very easily, so most of the time I end up staying holed up in my apartment for months on end every year. I've been trying to be a bit more active this time around, though. It's not healthy to stay inside all the time and only leave the house for work, so I've been going to the park pretty often, and when I can affort it I also go to local live shows or the movies! It's pretty fun.

My skin's not so happy about it, but that's life! -_-

I'm a little bit ashamed, I've had all month but I've not done very much of anything in terms of personal projects! I've not even been able to read much this month, either! I've been reading various short stories, poetry and web fiction but I've only just begun reading One Hundred Years of Solitude (it's very good so far!). Not only is work keeping me busy, but I've actually been wrapped up in helping out a lot of my friends with their artwork, it's loads of fun but it's also a little stressful!! I wish I had a little more time for myself! (sorry you guys, if you're reading this.)

Though, all that said, I'm definitely not spending what little free time I have as well as I could be -_-

I recently found a box set of the COMPLETE first season of Murder, She Wrote and I've been watching that every chance I can get. I LOVE Murder, She Wrote. It's probably in my top 3 shows ever. It's one of those shows I can watch over and over and over again forever, like the venture bros and X files. So, so, so good! Jessica Fletcher is so cool.

Also, a webnovel I've been following: Newf*g Runs The Gauntlet released another chapter lately after a long wait. It was really good, but now I'm left needing even more!! I need to know what happens next!! AAAAAAHHH!!! but I'll be patient! :]

[Hundred Line Spoilers for the next paragraph! Watch out!]

I got through the killing game route in hundred line! and part of the murder route, but it got cut off right when it got good!! I also have gotten through the first 30 or so days of another route where Takumi and Darumi are hunting a ghost called "Retsnom." A ghost which can apparently raise the dead. Which has some connection to the suits the sponsor wore in the Killing Game Route. The Sponsor who apparently could raise the dead as mindless puppets……. Yeah…. it's not looking good for us, but I'm excited to see where things go next!! If I'm being honest, I liked the KG route enough, but it was definitely underwhelming compared to the first scenario. I'm hoping this new route is better. Though, even if it's bad, I won't be upset. Hundred line is really fun either way!

Oh yea, here's the music I've been listening to this month, too.

Generally I've felt really busy this month, with all the stuff I've been doing. I haven't had any time to do my personal writing or anything like that! I think this month I'd like to finish that Deltarune fanfic I've been working on here and there, and maybe I'd like to just do a couple quick flash fiction pieces or poetry, idk! I just know I want to do something rather than nothing.

I'm sure next month I'll have a lot more to talk about. See y'all then!
