IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh, I have been working on this website for SO long and FINALLY it's done. I'm so tired… But also satisfied! It was a really fun project.
I first decided to make this website all the way back in April, and have been slowly chipping away at both learning html and css AND actually putting together the site for the better part of 3 months now. The last several weeks have been very busy for me, and for a while it seemed like I wouldn't get it done until mid-July. But I'm glad to say that's not the case!
Now that this project is finished, I'm going to take maybe a week or two to myself to relax, catch up on some reading I've been meaning to do, and to think about what project to start work on next.
In any case, the website isn't the ONLY thing that's been taking up my time lately. I've been doing a lot of stuff lately!
This month I've been reading less than usual, but with what little time I've been able to set aside, I've read a collection of Oscar Wilde Short Stories, and an issue of Granta I've had on my shelf for a few months now. I sadly lost the oscar wilde book, but here's the Granta issue!

Both were very nice. I've been thinking about reading One Hundred Years of Solitude lately, so now that I'm going to be a bit more free I'll probably be doing that.
I also got my hands on a book of poetry by William Blake, and have been reading a poem or two every night before bed. It's so relaxing. A divine image is such a beautiful poem, and it honestly makes me really emotional to read it. I love William Blake.

I don't have much to say about this, but here's the music I've been listening to lately:

I've been playing a lot of video games lately. I've been working through Chrono Trigger on-and-off for several months now. It's technically my second playthrough, but in my original playthrough I dropped it at the Ocean Palace (right before the game gets good, lol). A little while ago, I finally moved past where my original playthrough ended! As of right now, I'm stuck on the Magus rematch, bc I neglected to level Frog up, so his techs SUCK. -_-
A little while ago I also finished Route 0 of The Hundred Line. I've been having a blast playing the game so far, but DAMN!! It's a real undertaking. I feel like I've been playing for so long and I've still not finished any route all the way… how the hell am I supposed to beat this game?? Either way I've been having a good time playing it, so I'll keep on trying for as long as I'm able. Maybe i'll have it done one day… however far away that is…
Deltarune Chapter 5 dropped this month, and needless to say I've been obsessed. The main game was great, of course. I loved the flowers and I found them all to be really lovely. The secret boss is probably in my top 5 favorite fights so far. The platforming mechanic was so so so fun!
However, what I've actually been obsessed with isn't the main game but the new weird route content. I already loved the Weird Route but Chapter 5 cemented it as my favorite thing ever written by Toby Fox. It's so so so so so good. Noelle quickly shot to the top of my list of favorite characters after playing through the weird route, and her and Kris' story is so heartbreaking and horrific and denpa and beautiful and intense and romantic and violent and—
Even thinking about it makes me GO CRAZY!!!!!!! Noelle is a very relatable character to me, especially in her darkest moments. The Weird Route is very fucked up and scary to me, yes, but it's also cathartic in a way I struggle to explain.

Here's some fanart I drew a little while ago. It's not very good, but I just needed to make something to express my love for this story. I'm feeling the itch to write some fanfiction, too, so expect that on the site soon! I don't often write fanfic, but the Weird Route and Kriselle have really moved me, and I don't think I'll be able to stop thinking about them until I write something!!

(also, did any of you guys feel like this scene took some influence from SayoOshi? Just me?)
Anyways…
Something I've noticed is that lately I haven't been going outside so much. I really don't like how hot it is during the summer so I oftentimes have a habit of being a bit of a shut in during this time of year. But that's no way to live, so I think that since my day off is tomorrow I'll go out to my favorite park and enjoy the outdoors. Maybe I'll go get some snow cones or even buy a ticket for a movie! IDK! I
hope you all are having a great summer! See you all next month! byeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!
