September 5th, 2026: I've turned 22.

Happy birthday 2 me!

That's right! In August I turned 22! Hooray! I feel like I've accomplished a lot in this year of my life, so I'm happy to move on to this next one. Let's hope that I can keep going strong on to 23!

Though, I have to admit, aside from that I've been awfully lazy all month. Or maybe lazy isn't the right word; I've been working really hard! Just not on my personal creative projects, sadly. Work has been pretty crazy lately, and it'll probably only get crazier as the end of the year comes closer. That's life, I suppose…

I ended up shelving the deltarune fanfic I was planning on writing. I kept trying at it for a while but the thing about me is that I just have no interest for writing stories about characters that aren't my own, or in settings I didn't construct myself. I kept on getting stressed about being accurate to the canon characterization or not stepping on the established canon and I ended up getting so in my head about it that I just couldn't progress. I give my respect to fanfic authors, but I just don't think it's for me.

That's alright, though! I've been working on a different short story that I feel a lot more confident in lately! I plan to have it out before the end of the month, so stay tuned!

Also: Have you heard? There's a really cool Denpa VN Jam happening next month! (link here) I will be participating and I'm SUPER excited! (I hope I actually finish the project lol :p ) I have some ideas for my game but I want to keep things abstract before the jam actually begins to stay in the spirit of things. I'll still probably work out some coding stuff and draw a couple sprites, though. Expect occasional updates over on my Twitter page about it. (link here)

really, I don't have too much to report on this time around. I could talk about the movies I've watched or books I've read but to be honest I don't see myself as much of a reviewer, and I'd rather focus on writing something new than talk about stuff I've read already. I feel like I wouldn't be saying much that others haven't already said.

I suppose that's it for this month! I know, pretty short, but I'll hopefully have some nice fiction for y'all to read soon! So I'll be seeing you shortly :]
